Georgia Right of Way, Peace River Electric Cooperative’s (PRECO’s) tree trimming contractors, will be in the following areas in 2024.
The Eastern Division: 1 crew will be working the area of Highway 64 between Avon Park and the Bombing Range. A second crew will be working in Indian Lake Estates. This is the area south of Highway 60 and East of Highway 630.
The Central Division: 1 crew will be working out of Wauchula. This area includes Heard Bridge Road, Griffin Road, and both sides of East Main Street to 7-Mile Point. A second crew is currently working in the Limestone area and will be moving to the area south of Sweetwater, down to Highway 17, and north to Arcadia. The third crew will be working in the area of the Hardee/Manatee county line, east on Highway 64, into Ona.
The Western Division: 1 crew will be in the area of Wauchula Road throughout Myakka City. The second crew will be in the area from Ellenton Gillette Road to Highway 41 and from Environmental Road to Mendoza Road.
