As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and reliable electric system, Osmose, Peace River Electric Cooperative’s contracted pole inspection partner, routinely conducts utility pole inspections.
Currently, Osmose is doing pole inspections in our Central Division including:
- Polk County
- Hardee County
- Desoto County
These routine inspections are critical to identifying poles that may be weakened due to age, weather, or other environmental factors. By proactively assessing the condition of our infrastructure, we’re able to address potential issues before they impact service—keeping reliability high and outage risks low.
