Low-income families impacted by COVID-19 may qualify for assistance from state and local organizations for needs such as food, shelter, medical needs, utility bills and other needs.
LIHEAP
Florida’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low-income households in meeting immediate home energy needs.

EHEAP
The Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP) assists low-income households, with at least one person age 60 and older, when the households are experiencing a home energy emergency.

If you need financial help to pay your electric bill, United Way provides a free service that connects area residents to critical health and social service resources when they need help the most. United Way’s 2-1-1 helpline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
