Are you an educator eager to bring fresh and exciting learning experiences to your students? Look no further! We are thrilled to announce the availability of classroom grants up to $500!
Peace River Electric Cooperative’s (PRECO’s) Operation Round Up program is all about neighbors helping neighbors. Funding comes from our members who allow PRECO to round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar. Their small, tax-deductible gift goes into a designated fund to help the communities we serve.

Eligibility
- Available to public schools in and near Peace River Electric Cooperative’s service area
- Your school isn’t required to receive electric service from PRECO. Still, its physical location must be within a zip code and county we serve: Brevard, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Manatee, Osceola, Polk, and Sarasota.
Application Instructions
- Fully complete each section of the application
- Grants will be awarded to certified educators instructing students in grades Pre-K through 12
- Educators may submit one grant application per school year
- Grants will not be considered for personal electronic devices, training events, or conferences
- Your name, photo(s), and project description may be used in PRECO’s publication channels, including social media
