Live Line Demonstration Trailer
Peace River Electric Cooperative’s Live Line Demonstration Trailer brings hands-on electrical safety education to schools, workplaces, and community groups. Using real equipment and energized demonstrations, our trained linemen show how electricity works, what causes accidents, and how to stay safe around power lines.
- For schools: Students experience an engaging, visual lesson that reinforces classroom learning, builds awareness of electrical hazards, and introduces potential careers in the utility industry.
- For those who work around power lines: The trailer provides critical safety guidance for anyone operating large vehicles or equipment, emphasizing how to avoid overhead contact and what to do if machinery or tools come into contact with energized equipment.

Safety City
Our interactive “Safety City” presentation is available free of charge to schools and civic groups. Safety City teaches a message of power line and electrical safety.
