Peace River Electric Cooperative is experiencing an increase in inquiries regarding Renewable Generation Systems (RGS).  Many of our members regard a RGS as a way to control their electric usage, protect the environment, and reduce greenhouse emissions.

RGS systems may include, but are not limited to, Solar or Photovoltaic systems or Wind generation systems.

Peace River Electric Cooperative does not install or supply Renewable Generation Systems, but only provides an interconnection to the electric utility grid. For more information regarding Renewable Generation Systems contact PRECO’s Engineering Department toll-free at 1-800-282-3824.

How to get started.....

If you are ready to begin the process of installing a Renewable Generation System and connecting it to PRECO’s distribution lines please click on the links below to download the required forms.  Each form must be fully completed and signed by the member and Peace River Electric Cooperative. You will be contacted by a representative of PRECO after your forms are received.

In Addition.....

By installing a Renewable Generation System, you may qualify for State and/or Federal tax incentives or rebates. Check with Florida Solar Energy Center for more information.
